This Act may be cited as the Critical Biomanufacturing Input Assessment Act.

The Secretary of Commerce shall, on an annual basis, submit to Congress an assessment of United States dependency on imported biomanufacturing inputs used in solid-state, gas, and continuous fermentation methods, biomass processing equipment, and scalable commercial-grade fermentation tanks of capacity ranging from 1 to over 75,000 liters.
