What this bill does
In plain words · AI-written from the official summaryVA coverage includes delivery costs for vehicles
The Department of Veterans Affairs helps certain disabled veterans and active-duty service members get vehicles. Right now, when the VA pays for a vehicle, it covers the purchase price but doesn't include the cost to deliver it. This bill would change that so delivery costs are covered as part of the full payment.
How it affects you
Disabled veterans and some active-duty service members who qualify for VA vehicle assistance would benefit directly. Instead of having to pay for delivery out of their own pocket, the VA's payment would cover that cost along with the vehicle itself.
