This Act may be cited as the Preserving Community Food Assistance Act of 2026.

Section 202A(b)(4) of the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983 (7 U.S.C. 7503(b)(4)U.S. Code — Title 7, Section 7503(b)(4)View official source on GovInfo) is amended by inserting (at the option of the State agency based on documented proof of residency such as a photo identification card, a piece of mail, residency documentation, or other similar document) after residing.
