This Act may be cited as the Natural Climate Solutions Research and Extension Act of 2026.

Section 1672(d) of the Food, Agriculture, Conservation, and Trade Act of 1990 (7 U.S.C. 5925(d)U.S. Code — Title 7, Section 5925(d)View official source on GovInfo) is amended by adding at the end the following: (21) Natural climate solutions Research and extension grants may be made under this section for the purpose of advancing land management practices that store carbon or reduce greenhouse gas emissions in agricultural lands and soils, grasslands, wetlands, and forests, including practices that— (A) are based on traditional ecological knowledge; (B) promote biodiversity and climate change resilience; and (C) reduce runoff..
