This Act may be cited as the Pathway to Trades Act.

Section 463(a) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1087cU.S. Code — Title 20, Section 1087cView official source on GovInfoc(a)) is amended— (1) in paragraph (8), by striking and at the end; (2) by redesignating paragraph (9) as paragraph (10); and (3) by inserting after paragraph (8) the following: (9) provide that the institution of higher education will— (A) designate a faculty member as a point of contact for students studying, or interested in studying, trades; and (B) develop courses for students relating to trades; and.
