What this bill does
In plain words · AI-written from the official summaryVA covers vehicle delivery costs for disabled veterans
Right now, the VA helps certain disabled veterans and active-duty service members buy a vehicle, but it doesn't include delivery costs in that assistance. This bill would change that. It would require the VA to cover the cost of delivering the vehicle as part of its full payment for buying the automobile or other conveyance.
How it affects you
Disabled veterans and active-duty service members who receive VA assistance to buy a vehicle would benefit directly. Instead of having to pay delivery costs out of pocket, those costs would be covered along with the rest of the vehicle purchase price.
