This Act may be cited as the Protecting Ballot Measures From Foreign Influence Act of 2025.

(a) Prohibition Section 319(a)(1)(A) of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (52 U.S.C. 30121(a)(1)(A)U.S. Code — Title 52, Section 30121(a)(1)(A)View official source on GovInfo) is amended by inserting, or a State or local ballot initiative or ballot referendum after election. (b) Effective date The amendment made by this section shall apply with respect to contributions and donations made on or after the date of enactment of this Act.
