This Act may be cited as the Remote Waste Storage Act.

Section 3001(d)(6) of the Solid Waste Disposal Act (42 U.S.C. 6921(d)(6)U.S. Code — Title 42, Section 6921(d)(6)View official source on GovInfo) is amended, in the second sentence, by inserting, or for not more than 2 years if such generator lacks year-round surface transportation access to a treatment, storage, or disposal facility and the accumulation of the hazardous waste is conducted in compliance with all applicable laws (including regulations) before the period at the end.
