This Act may be cited as the Know Your Sanctioned Securities Act.

Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Securities and Exchange Commission shall promulgate rules to require the— (1) addition of CMC to the ticker symbol of the securities of any issuer that has been designated on the list published by the Secretary of Defense pursuant to section 1260H of the William M. (Mac) Thornberry National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (10 U.S.C. 113U.S. Code — Title 10, Section 113View official source on GovInfo note; Public Law 116–283Public Law 116-283View official source on GovInfo); and (2) the removal of the modifier described in paragraph (1) for any issuer that has been removed from the list described in that paragraph.
