That the United States of America— (1) designates a National Day of Remembrance in honor of the American servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice at the bombing of Abbey Gate at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, on August 26, 2021; (2) expresses its deepest condolences and gratitude to the Gold Star Families of those lost at Abbey Gate; and (3) remembers their honorable and faithful service to their Nation.
