Amendments to the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 relating to work requirements

(a) Work requirements Section 6(o) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(6)(o)) is amended— (1) in paragraph (3)— (A) in subparagraph (A) by striking clause (ii) and inserting the following: (ii) over 60 years of age;, (B) in subparagraph (C) by inserting under 6 years of age; a after child, (C) in subparagraph (E) by striking the semicolon at the end and inserting; or, (D) by striking subparagraphs (F) and (H).; and (E) by redesignating subparagraph (G) as subparagraph (F), and (2) by striking subparagraph (4). (b) Conforming amendment Section 311 of title II of division C of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023 (Public Law 118–5; 137 STAT. 36) is amended by striking subsection (b).
