For the purpose of determining income under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2011 et seq.) during the 100-day period that begins on the date a veteran receives a Report of Separation (DD form 214) of a household that includes a member who is a veteran, only the income of such veteran shall be considered.
