Section 501(b)(2) of division HH of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (7 U.S.C. 2016a(b)(2)) is amended— (1) by striking subparagraph (A) and inserting the following: (A) shall be equal to the amount of benefits stolen from the household; and; (2) in subparagraph (B), by striking and at the end; and (3) by striking subparagraph (C).
