Combatting climate change

The Secretary of the Treasury shall instruct the United States Executive Director at each multilateral development bank (as defined in section 1701(c)(4) of the International Financial Institutions Act) to use the voice, vote, and influence of the United States to support the public disclosure by the respective bank of— (1) the internal methodologies of the bank for calculating the extent to which projects financed by the bank affect climate change; and (2) an explanation of the processes and practices of the bank for making these calculations.
