Review of policies

Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Director of the Bureau of Prisons shall— (1) conduct a review of the policies of the Bureau of Prisons pertaining to inmates who make, possess, obtain, or attempt to make or obtain a prohibited object, as defined in section 1791(d)(1) of title 18, United States Code; and (2) update those policies as needed to improve protections for incarcerated individuals and staff.
