(a) Section 5 of the Corrections Oversight Improvement Omnibus Amendment Act of 2022 (D.C. Law 24–344) is repealed, and the provision of law amended by such section (section 16–5505, D.C. Official Code) is restored as if such section had not been enacted into law. (b) Subsection (a) shall take effect as if included in the enactment of the Corrections Oversight Improvement Omnibus Amendment Act of 2022.
