(a) Establishment The Secretary shall establish a Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, which shall perform such functions related to international narcotics, anti-crime, law enforcement, and transnational crime as the Under Secretary for International Security Affairs may prescribe. (b) Assistant secretary The Assistant Secretary for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs shall be the head of the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs.
