Destruction of adulterated, misbranded, or counterfeit tobacco products offered for import

(a) In general Section 801(a) of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 381(a)) is amended— (1) in the fourth sentence, by striking or counterfeit device and inserting, counterfeit device, or counterfeit tobacco product (as defined in section 900); and (2) by striking drug or device each place it appears in the seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth sentences and inserting drug, device, or tobacco product. (b) Applicability The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply beginning on the date of enactment of this Act.
