Subsection (c) of section 2106 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking August 1, 1979, as a member of the Selected Reserve. and inserting an em dash; and (2) by adding at the end the following new paragraphs: (1) August 1, 1979, as a member of the Selected Reserve; or (2) the date of the enactment of the Save the Green to Gold Program Act, regardless of the component in which the officer performed such enlisted service..
