Port Infrastructure Development Program

(a) Port and intermodal improvement program Section 54301(a)(6)(B) of title 46, United States Code, is amended— (1) in clause (ii), by striking and after the semicolon; (2) in clause (iii), by striking the period and inserting; and; and (3) by adding at the end the following: (iv) ensuring equitable geographic distribution among regions of the United States with regard to the projects selected.. (b) Assistance for small inland river and coastal ports and terminals Section 54301(b)(4) of title 46, United States Code, is amended— (1) in subparagraph (B), by striking; and; (2) in subparagraph (C), by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and (3) by adding at the end the following: (D) ensure equitable geographic distribution among regions of the United States with regard to the projects selected..
