Subparagraph (A) of section 641(a)(1) of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (8 U.S.C. 1372(a)(1)) is amended to read as follows: (A) (i) have the status, or are applying for the status— (I) of a nonimmigrant under subparagraph (F), (J), or (M) of section 1101(a)(15) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(15)); or (II) of a nonimmigrant under the immigration laws (as defined in section 101(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101(a))) and are pursuing or intend to pursue a full course of study at an institution or language training program described in subparagraph (F) or (M) of section 101(a)(15) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(15)); and.
