(a) In general Section 203(e)(1) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and sections 401(a)(31)(B)(ii) and 411(a)(11)(A) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 are each amended by striking $5,000 and inserting $7,000. (b) Effective date The amendments made by this section shall apply to distributions made after December 31, 2024.
