Congress finds the following: (1) On August 28, 2025, the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution 2790 (2025), which decides to extend for a final time the mandate of UNIFIL … until 31 December 2026. (2) It is therefore appropriate that United States support for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon aligns with the timeline established in Resolution 2790.
