The Secretary of Transportation may transfer amounts awarded to a federally recognized Tribe under a funding agreement entered into under part 29 of title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, from the Department of Transportation’s operating administrations to the Office of Tribal Government Affairs: Provided, That any amounts retroceded or reassumed under such part may be transferred back to the appropriate operating administration.
