Amounts previously made available under the heading Department of Housing and Urban Development—Public and Indian Housing—Choice Neighborhoods Initiative in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018 (Public Law 115–141) shall remain available for the liquidation of valid obligations incurred prior to the expiration of such amounts until September 30th of the 8th fiscal year after the period of availability for obligation ends: Provided, That if this Act is enacted after September 30, 2026, this section shall be applied as if it were in effect on September 30, 2026.
