Section 31137(b) of title 49, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following: (4) Edits and annotations of electronic logging device records An edit or annotation may be made by an employee or authorized agent of the motor carrier responsible for the record, provided that the employee or agent is physically located in North America and that such edit or annotation remains subject to driver approval..
