That the House of Representatives— (1) supports the goals and ideals of National Clinical Nurse Specialist Week; (2) recognizes the contributions of Clinical Nurse Specialists to improving patient outcomes, advancing nursing practice, and strengthening health care systems throughout the United States; (3) encourages the people of the United States to observe National Clinical Nurse Specialist Week with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities; and (4) reaffirms its commitment to supporting policies that ensure the Clinical Nurse Specialist workforce is accurately counted, appropriately classified, and adequately supported in Federal health workforce planning.
