That the House of Representatives— (1) honors the memory of those who lost their lives as a result of Hurricane Helene; (2) extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to all individuals and communities who continue to suffer in the storm’s aftermath; (3) recognizes and expresses gratitude for the heroic efforts of first responders, volunteers, and local leaders who have risked their lives to save others and begin the process of recovery; (4) affirms its commitment to supporting the people and communities impacted by Hurricane Helene through disaster relief, recovery, and rebuilding efforts; and (5) encourages the appropriate executive branch agencies to continue to partner with Congress to accelerate recovery of the communities affected by Hurricane Helene.
