Section 319L(c)(4)(F) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247d–7e(c)(4)(F)) is amended— (1) in the second sentence, in the matter preceding clause (i), by inserting, manufacturing technologies, platforms, after countermeasures; and (2) by inserting after the first sentence the following: Such strategic coordination may include collaborating with the network of Manufacturing USA institutes established under section 34 of the National Institute of Standards and Technology Act in biomanufacturing missions to develop, demonstrate, and deploy technologies and response capabilities to improve public health and medical preparedness..
