Development of new measurement tools under AFRI

Section 2(b)(2)(D) of the Competitive, Special, and Facilities Research Grant Act (7 U.S.C. 3157(b)(2)(D)) is amended— (1) in clause (vii), by striking and at the end; (2) in clause (viii), by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and (3) by adding at the end the following: (ix) measuring, monitoring, reporting, and verifying soil carbon sequestration and emissions..
