Appeals, notice, and hearing

Section 646(e)(1) of the Head Start Act (42 U.S.C. 9841(e)(1)) is amended— (1) by striking Indian tribe each place it appears and inserting Indian tribe, Native Hawaiian organization, or Native Hawaiian educational organization; (2) in subparagraph (B), by striking the tribe the first place it appears and inserting the Indian tribe, Native Hawaiian organization, or Native Hawaiian educational organization; and (3) except as described in paragraph (2) of this section, by striking the tribe each place it appears and inserting the Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian community involved.
