Section 9(b)(15) of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. 1758(b)(15)) is amended by adding at the end the following: (I) Use of Medicaid data Any State agency that uses Medicaid program data to directly certify children for free or reduced price lunches under this Act and free or reduced price breakfasts under section 4 of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 (42 U.S.C. 1773) for the school year beginning on July 1, 2024, through the demonstration projects carried out pursuant to this Act may continue using Medicaid program data for subsequent school years in accordance with the conditions in effect at the start of the school year beginning on July 1, 2024..
