Additional Federal resources

(a) Authorization of appropriations There is authorized to be appropriated to the Commission and other Federal agencies enumerated in this Act such sums as may be necessary to carry out this Act. (b) Commission personnel Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Commission may hire not more than 500 additional personnel to accomplish the work of the Commission with respect to unfair or deceptive acts or practices relating to the development or deployment of covered algorithms in accordance with this Act.
