Effective date; applicability

This Act and the amendments made by this Act shall— (1) take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act; and (2) apply to any claim filed on or after the date of the enactment of this Act regardless of whether the conduct at issue occurred prior to the date of enactment of this Act.
