The purposes of this Act are— (1) to recognize the important role that after-school, summer, and other out-of-school time educators, in STEM subjects, play in facilitating STEM education and development of the STEM workforce; and (2) to support STEM educators in after-school, summer, and other out-of-school time programs, including supporting their professional development and well-being through Federal funding.
