Annual hearing and report on state of District of Columbia

Not less frequently than once every calendar year, the Chair of the Council of the District of Columbia and the Mayor of the District of Columbia shall appear at a hearing of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate and at a hearing of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the House of Representatives to present a report on the state of the District, including recommendations for such measures as they deem necessary and expedient.
