Effective date

Except as provided in section 7(b), this Act, and the amendments made by this Act, shall apply with respect to acts of the District of Columbia that are transmitted to Congress by the Council of the District of Columbia under section 602(c) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act (sec. 1–206.02(c), D.C. Official Code), and with respect to executive orders and regulations which are transmitted to Congress by the Mayor under section 605 of such Act, as added by section 5, on or after the date of enactment of this Act.
