The table of contents in section 1(b) of the National and Community Service Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12501 note) is amended— (1) by striking the item relating to section 141 and inserting the following: Sec. 141. National service educational awards and stipends.; (2) by striking the item relating to subtitle D of title I and inserting the following: Subtitle D—National Service Trust and Provision of Educational Awards or Stipends; (3) by striking the item relating to section 141 and inserting the following: Sec. 145. Individuals eligible to receive an educational award or stipend from the trust.; (4) by inserting after the item relating to section 149 the following: Sec. 149A. Stipend.; and (5) by inserting after the item relating to section 189D the following: Sec. 189E. Non-competitive hiring eligibility..
