Streamlining reporting requirements

Section 404 of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (25 U.S.C. 4164) is amended— (1) by redesignating subsection (d) as subsection (e); and (2) by inserting after subsection (c) the following: (d) Consolidated reporting Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary shall develop policies and procedures that authorize interested Indian tribes and tribally designated housing entities receiving grant amounts under this Act to submit to the Secretary, at their discretion, 1 consolidated annual performance report covering all grants the Indian tribe or tribally designated housing entity receives under this Act and from other grant programs administered by the Secretary..
