Section 2(b)(2)(E) of the Competitive, Special, and Facilities Research Grants Act (7 U.S.C. 3157(b)(2)(E)) is amended— (1) in clause (iv), by striking and at the end; (2) in clause (v), by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and (3) by adding at the end the following: (vi) hydroponics, aquaponics, aeroponics, and other production technologies used in controlled-environment agriculture production..
