The purposes of this title are— (1) to assist in the conservation of threatened and endangered desert fish and the habitats of such desert fish in the Southwest; and (2) to support and provide financial resources for projects to conserve such desert fish and the habitats of such desert fish and to address other threats to the survival of such desert fish species.
