Definitions

In this Act: (1) Foreign Country of concern The term foreign country of concern means— (A) the People’s Republic of China; (B) the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea; (C) the Russian Federation; and (D) the Islamic Republic of Iran. (2) Precision agriculture technology The term precision agriculture technology means— (A) instrumentation and techniques ranging from sophisticated sensors and software systems to manual sampling and data collection tools that measure, record, and manage spatial and temporal data; (B) technologies for searching out and assembling information necessary for sound agricultural production decisionmaking; (C) open systems technologies for data networking and processing that produce valued systems for farm management decisionmaking; and (D) machines that deliver information-based management practices.
