Section 658O(c) of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 9858m(c)) is amended by adding at the end the following: (7) Consultation In establishing requirements, including requirements relating to applications, under this subsection, the Secretary shall consult with Indian tribes and tribal organizations (including such tribes that are Alaska Native villages or regional or village corporations, and including Native Hawaiian organizations and other organizations described in section 658P(15)(B)), experts in Indian early childhood education and development, linguists, and the National Indian Child Care Association..
