Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act and consistent with the updated Financial Crimes Enforcement Network guidance described in paragraph (11)(B) of section 5318(g) of title 31, United States Code, as added by section 702 of this title, the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council, in consultation with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, shall develop uniform guidance and examination procedures for depository institutions that provide financial services to cannabis-related legitimate businesses and cannabis-related service providers.
