In this Act: (1) Alternative fuel The term alternative fuel means a fuel that results in a significant reduction in lifecycle greenhouse gas and criteria air pollutant emissions compared to conventional fuel options. (2) Department The term Department means the Department of Energy. (3) Secretary The term Secretary means the Secretary of Energy.
