(a) Definition of east wing modernization project In this section, the term East Wing Modernization Project means the project with the file number 8733 entitled East Wing Modernization Project for which the preliminary and final site and building plans were approved by the National Capital Planning Commission on April 2, 2026. (b) Prohibitions Nothing in this Act provides the authorization of Congress to construct the East Wing Modernization Project and no Federal funds or private donations may be used for the East Wing Modernization Project absent express authorization of Congress after the date of enactment of this Act.
