State agricultural mediation programs

(a) Matching grants to states Section 502 of the Agricultural Credit Act of 1987 (7 U.S.C. 5102) is amended— (1) in subsection (b)(2), by striking $500,000 and inserting $700,000; and (2) by adding at the end the following: (e) Carryover of financial assistance The Secretary shall permit a State that receives financial assistance under subsection (a) for a fiscal year to carry over not more than 25 percent of the financial assistance that is not expended by the end of the fiscal year for use during the next fiscal year without deducting the amount from any assistance provided under this Act in subsequent fiscal years.. (b) Authorization of appropriations Section 506 of the Agricultural Credit Act of 1987 Act (7 U.S.C. 5106) is amended by inserting and $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2027 through 2031 before the period at the end.
