Crop insurance support for beginning and veteran farmers and ranchers

(a) Definition of veteran farmer or rancher Section 502(b) is amended, in paragraph (15) (as redesignated by section 11001(1)), in subparagraph (B)— (1) in clause (ii), by striking 5 and inserting 10; and (2) in clause (iii), by striking 5-year and inserting 10-year. (b) Increase in assistance Section 508(e)(9) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act (7 U.S.C. 1508(e)(9)) is amended by inserting or veteran farmer or rancher after beginning farmer or rancher each place it appears.
