This Act may be cited as the Healthy Lunch for Healthy Kids Act.

Section 9(a)(1)(A) of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act is amended— (1) in clause (i), by striking and at the end; (2) in clause (ii), by striking the period at the end and inserting; and; and (3) by adding at the end the following: (iii) shall prohibit— (I) ultraprocessed foods (as described in group 4 of the NOVA classification system); and (II) foods containing— (aa) potassium bromate; (bb) propylparaben; (cc) titanium dioxide; (dd) brominated vegetable oil; (ee) yellow dye 5; (ff) yellow dye 6; (gg) blue dye 1; (hh) blue dye 2; (ii) green dye 3; (jj) red dye 3; or (kk) red dye 40..
