None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to lease, procure, or otherwise acquire a vehicle if the manufacturer, bidder, or offeror of such vehicle is directly or indirectly an entity that is— (1) owned by, controlled by, or organized under the laws of the People's Republic of China, including BYD Auto Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd., or any subsidiary or affiliate thereof; or (2) included on the list maintained by the Secretary of Defense pursuant to section 1260H of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 (10 U.S.C. 113 note), including Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), or any subsidiary or affiliate thereof.
